Associate Members: Tube manufacturers based in North America and actively engaged in North America for not less than one year as a manufacturer of tube materials used in the manufacture of HEI scope products.

HEI holds two meetings each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. During the meeting, members of each Section gather to discuss industry and technical issues, as well as review the work of the Technical Committee. Each HEI section sponsors a technical committee which is charged with developing revising standards specific to its range of products.

Each technical committee meets at least twice a year, with each section member designating an engineer as its representative on the Technical Committee; ongoing communication among committee members assures that the standards are based on the latest available technology.
